This one is for the ladies!
On Sunday, July 7th @ 9am SoCoVelo will host its first ever ladies road ride. This will be a no-drop social ride, and all abilities are welcome and encouraged to join! If this is your first time out on a bike, this ride is also for you! You do not have to be a member of the club to ride with us. This one is for all the ladies that enjoy the bike or would like to get into riding!
The ride will leave from Criterium, go up the Sinton Trail to Garden of the Gods, through the Garden, and then through Old Colorado City, and finally, we will hit the Greenway Trail back to Criterium. The link to the route is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/19934671. The ride will be ~20 miles long, with ~1,200 ft of elevation change, and will be mostly on bike paths. I expect the ride to be 1.5-2 hours long at a leisurely pace. Depending on how everyone is feeling, we could stop at a coffee shop along the way or refuel at the Crit Cafe when we're back at the shop.
Special note: Please be mindful of Criterium's limited parking and park across the stress instead of in their lot. We want to leave spaces for their customers.
So grab a girlfriend, bring a family member, or come on your own and join the SoCoVelo ladies on a great ride!
