Calling all the ladies! It's time for another fantastic SoCoVelo women's road ride!!
This ride will start and finish at Criterium and will ask everyone to do quite a bit of climbing over a short distance (~1,300 ft over ~15 miles) in the Mountain Shadows area. The route will take us from Criterium on to Delmonico, Valley Drive and Oak Hills Drive, Allegheny, Centennial, and then onto the Sinton Trail to Chestnut, across Garden of the Gods Road onto Elkton and back to the shop. There are opportunities for slower riders to cut out some of the climbing and for faster riders to do some hill climb repeats while they wait for the slower ones to catch up.
As always, this is a no-drop, social ride! No one gets left behind, and all abilities are welcome. No need to be a club member to ride with us, although we sure would love it if you joined at some point. This is a road ride, so road or gravel/CX bike will work best.
Please gather at the shop at 5:45pm so that we can be wheels down at 6pm. As a reminder, please park across the street from Criterium in the empty lot, not in Criterium's parking lot. We want to reserve their spots for their customers.
Special note: Due to fading light at night, this will be our last midweek ride. Weekend rides will continue, and the next one will be on Sunday, September 29th.
