Group Gravel Grinder (GGG)
Meet at the water fountain in America the Beautiful park. Either ride to the park or drive and park at the location of your choice.
Group will discuss the plan a couple minutes after 10:00am and roll out by 10:05am. Heading south. The route will follow Santa Fe trail heading south. Here is an example ride from my Strava (Example Route) but starting at mile 7.5 on the route (at the park).
This is a 2 hour ride so the final distance will be determined by how far the group gets at the 1 hour mark. The plan will be to stay altogether and ride as a group for the first 15-20 minutes to get out of the main part of COS together. Then, the terrain will start to naturally split the group up a bit. Everyone will turn back for home then at the 1 hours mark with the leaders catching the sweep and then riding altogether then for the final miles back to the start.
Bring everything you need for this ride as there are no services on the route. Food/water/repair items.

This ride is open to SOCO Velo members only. We do offer a free 30 day trial membership if you know someone who would like to ride, but is not yet a member.
