Mt. Evans Climb - SOCO Version

This is NOT the official Mt. Evans Hill Climb event. The official event takes place on July 8. 

When: Monday, July 3, 2023 @ 5am (tentative time)

Where: Meet at I25 & Woodmen Park & Ride to carpool

What: ride to the summit of Mt. Evans from Echo Lake or Idaho Springs (your choice) followed by lunch in Idaho Springs

Because the road on Mt. Evans has a lot of cracks and gaps, it is highly recommended that you use a gravel bike for this ride. A road bike will be fine on the climb but will be rough on the descent. 

We'll start a group chat as the day gets closer to help coordinate carpools, etc.
